Consider a scenario that industrial buyers know well. A plant orders several "factory-direct" dry screw pumps at an attractive price. The units arrive on time, but when a rotor coating question comes up during commissioning, the seller cannot answer it. A spare part quoted at two weeks takes two months. The supplier, it turns out, is a trading company relabeling pumps from a workshop it does not control — and every technical question has to travel through a middleman before an answer comes back.

Why the Distinction Matters More for Dry Pumps

Dry vacuum pumps are precision machines.
