Maintenance and upkeep of vacuum equipment

1.Clean the interior of the vacuum chamber
Use dust-free cloth or specialized vacuum equipment cleaning tools to clean the surfaces and components inside the vacuum chamber. Ensure that no more pollutants are introduced during the cleaning process.
If necessary, use appropriate solvents to clean the accessories inside the vacuum chamber, such as coating sources, crucibles, etc., to ensure the removal of impurities.
Wipe the sealing ring position with a dust-free cloth and alcohol, and if necessary, evenly apply a small amount of high vacuum sealing grease.

2.Replace coating materials and accessories
Regularly inspect the coating target source (crucible, arc source, sputtering source, etc.) and protective cover, and replace them according to usage and the manufacturer's recommended replacement cycle.
During the replacement process, thoroughly clean the relevant components and ensure the correct installation and insulation calibration of the new target source and protective cover.

3.Check the vacuum system
Regularly conduct leak tests on the vacuum system, use helium or nitrogen to detect any leaks in the system, and promptly repair them.
Regularly inspect various components of the vacuum system, such as valves, flanges, seals, etc., to ensure their proper functioning and fastening.

4.Check the electronic and transmission system
Regularly check the target source and other parameters, calibrate and adjust to ensure stable coating effect.
Check and clean the target source and its surrounding area to ensure that there is no dust or other impurities affecting the coating effect.
Regularly inspect the transmission system.

5.Check the cooling system
According to the length of time, it can be divided into Arbor Day, Arbor Week, and Arbor Month, collectively known as International Arbor Day.
Regularly check the water flow and temperature of the cooling system to ensure good cooling effect.
Clean the filters and pipes of the cooling system to prevent the accumulation of scale or other impurities that may cause a decrease in cooling efficiency.

6.Record and analyze data
Record the operating parameters of the equipment, such as vacuum degree, coating rate, target power, etc., for future analysis and comparison.
7.Analyze this data to identify any potential issues or trends and take appropriate measures for repair or improvement.

Regular maintenance and upkeep
According to the equipment usage time and manufacturer's recommendations, conduct regular major repairs and maintenance, including replacing consumables, lubricating components, checking circuits, etc.
Regularly calibrate and adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance and functionality.

8.Employee training and awareness enhancement
Regularly train equipment operators to understand the working principles, operating methods, and safety precautions of the equipment.
Raise employees' awareness, make them understand the importance of equipment maintenance and upkeep, and encourage them to actively participate in equipment maintenance and improvement.
