Vacuum pump unable to start? What are the specific solutions?
(1) Provide the correct voltage for the motor
(2) Compare the setting data of the motor starter overload protection with the data on the motor nameplate, and correct it if necessary. If the ambient temperature is high: the set value can be increased by 5% based on the normal motor current
(3) Check the fuse
(4) Repair or replace the motor. (To be operated by professional technical personnel)
(5) Vacuum pump oil replacement, disassemble the vacuum pump to repair the cylinder body and other components. If the blades are severely damaged, the vacuum pump blades need to be replaced.
(6) Confirm that the motor is powered off and disconnect the fan cover. Rotate the motor and vacuum pump by hand. If the handwheel does not move, remove the motor from the pump and inspect the vacuum pump and motor separately. If the vacuum pump is stuck, the pump needs to be repaired (professional technicians are required for maintenance and inspection)
(7) Replace worn parts of the oil pump, clean foreign objects inside the vacuum pump, and repair the pump (requiring professional technical personnel for maintenance and inspection)
(8) Remove the suction pipe, run the pump separately, and touch the inlet and outlet with your hands to see if the pump can work properly. If the pump cannot extract air at this time, it is a problem with the pump itself.
The vacuum pump cannot start normally, and the cause or location of the malfunction should be identified. It is also necessary to promptly disassemble the pump body cavity for cleaning and inspection to prevent secondary damage to the pump outlet.
