Vacuum pump maintenance is a repair technique. Due to the friction and internal and external forces of some components during the operation of the vacuum pump, the efficiency of the vacuum pump may decrease or the vacuum pump may stop. In this case, it is necessary to repair and replace the worn or broken components. Furthermore, repairing the cylinder body and rotor with high precision requirements to improve the efficiency and performance of vacuum pumps is an overall manifestation of vacuum pump maintenance technology.

1, Boring cylinder
Boring cylinder is a common maintenance method for dry pumps. Mainly targeting the phenomenon of excessive wear of cylinder liners.
Boring cylinders are mainly divided into the following steps:
Rough boring - leaving a machining allowance of 0.10mm for precision boring
Precision boring - leaving a honing allowance of 0.03mm
Honing - achieving specified dimensions and surface roughness
Cleaning - Carefully clean the cylinder block, then place the paired pistons into the cylinder to check their fit, and finally apply lubricating oil to prevent rust inside the cylinder
2, Cleaning of pump body
You may think that cleaning is a simple step when you see it, but in fact, this step may seem simple, but it is a very important process. Generally, manufacturers only flush the fuel tank and pump head with gasoline or water to reduce costs. In fact, this is far from enough. Prolonged operation of oil vacuum pumps at high temperatures leads to emulsification and carbonization of the vacuum pump oil, forming a viscous substance that adheres to the oil tank and pump head. If not handled in time, it will remain in the vacuum pump and affect its performance and lifespan after maintenance. So, to solve this problem, it is necessary to clean it with a specialized cleaning agent after ultrasonic cleaning.
3, Part replacement
Replace the original damaged or broken parts. The accuracy of components in this process is relatively important, and the selection of components needs to comply with the accuracy of pump body assembly to prevent anomalies after component assembly.
The failure of the vacuum pump is often caused by improper daily use, so the daily operation and maintenance of the vacuum pump are very important.
